The wilderness hut is situated on the south side of the River Ivalojoki about 400 m from it, west of the River Louhioja which flows into the River Ivalojoki.

A low log cabin, which was built in 1920.

Wood oven and gas stove.

Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.
