Because of the coronavirus, safe distances should be kept even in nature, and thorough hand hygiene should be followed at huts, campfire sites and after using the toilet. The exhibition of the Nature Centre has been taken down because of the renovation of the building. Operating (without the main exhibition) continues nearby in the address Tottinkatu 6a, Savonlinna.

The tourist information at the museum shop offers free brochures and a wifi. Information on nature tourism services in the Savonlinna area is also available.
The museum shop sells maps, books, posters and plenty of souvenirs and other products.

Services for the Disabled

You can drive your car up to the Nature Centre entrance. There is a very small inva-parking place. Almost all areas inside the Nature Centre are wheelchair accessible with assistance: only the museum shop and the toilet in the lobby are not barrier free.
