Day Trip Hut and Campfire Site
The Moronvuori Day Trip Hut (in Finnish) is located on the eastern edge of the park at the foot of Moronvuori Hill. A marked trail leads to the hut. There is a wood stove for preparing food but no dishes in the hut.
There is a campfire site on the grounds of the hut.
Making open fires is always prohibited at both marked campfire sites and when fires are permitted by the land owner if a forest fire warning has been issued for the area (ilmatieteenlaitos.fi).
This prohibition does not apply to cooking shelters or other fireplaces with a flue.
There are no waste-bins in the area so avoid bringing unnecessary waste into the area. Take all the waste that accumulates during your trip out of the National Park.
