Welcome to Koli Nature Centre Ukko

The Koli Nature Centre Ukko offers Finland's best known national landscape, the hills of Eastern Finland and heritage sites. The Koli Heritage Exhibition displays Koli's geological features, natural environment and culture in a variety of ways and provides advice and tips for hiking in the Koli National Park. The Nature Centre is only a few hundred metres from the Ukko-Koli lookout point – one glimpse of the national landscape and you will be captivated by Koli forever.

Please note that we answer telephone calls daily from 10 am to 4 pm during the busy summer season (from mid-June to mid-August) in order to avoid crowds in the Koli Nature Centre Ukko. Otherwise our customer service officers can be rearched on the phone always when the Nature Center Ukko is open.

Visit: Opening hours vary seasonally. Exhibitions and picture shows are subject to a fee, expext exhibiton in upper hallway. Advance bookings are required for guided tours subject to a fee. Read more

Things to Do and See: The Koli Heritage Exhibition, temporary exhibitions, audiovisual presentations, guided tours for groups, reference library, a media studio, children's playroom, nature trails and events. Read more

Suitability: Suitable for visitors of all ages and visitors with mobility difficulties, for groups, families or individual visitors. Also pets are welcome.

Services: Hiking information services, guided tours in the Koli Heritage Exhibition, Nature Centre shop, bookings for auditorium Vaarasali, Café Eväsretket and Koli shop Retkitupa. Read more
