Welcome to Pallastunturi Visitor Centre

From the Pallastunturi Visitor Centre, you can hike and ski directly to the highest fells of the national park. Our customer service will guide you to the attractions of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and its finest hiking trails. The ‘Metsästä paljakalle’ exhibition introduces the visitors to fell nature. You can also visit the changing art exhibition. We organise Nature Talks and other events. You can purchase maps and local products from our shop. The Visitor Centre is accessible and suitable for families with children.

Gateway to the Fells

Location: In the Municipality of Muonio in Western Lapland, on the slope of Pallastunturi Fells, Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Read more.

Visit: There is no entrance fee to the visitor centre. It is recommended that groups notify the Visitor Centre in advance of their arrival. Read more.

Suitability: Services for nature enthusiasts and families with children. The exhibition space, customer service, and toilets are accessible to all. Pet friendly visitor centre.

Services: Hiking information, hut reservations, keys, nature shop, fishing and hunting permits, camp school sessions, and services of cooperating partners next to the Visitor Centre and in the nearby villages. Read more.
