Opening hours 2024
On Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 to 11:30 AM and 12:00 to 4:15 PM. We serve by phone and email from Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On the 16th of October the customer service serves exceptionally until 13:00 PM.
Changes to customer service
In the future, customers of Metsähallitus’s Ivalo office can use our telephone service and digital service channels. The office’s customer service point will be available for the last time on Friday 18 October.

By Car
- The Customer Service is located in the centre of Ivalo. The distance to Rovaniemi is 298 km, Inari 38 km and Utsjoki 166 km.
By Public Transportation
In Ivalo village there is no public transportation, but taxiservices are available.
- Coaches travel daily to Ivalo from Rovaniemi, Utsjoki, Karigasniemi and Näätämö. Coach timetables (matkahuolto.fi).
- The Ivalo airport (finavia.fi) is 10 km away.
- The closest railway station is in Rovaniemi. Timetables for trains (vr.fi).
