Peaceful Ruunaa Rapids are a popular place for relaxation and fishing. During the hot days in the middle of the summer, the quiet waters may be the best fishing spots. At the end of the summer, you can see the fish jumping out of the water on top of the rapids. Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and Lake Trout (Salmo trutta m. lacustris L.) which are over the minimum length requirement for fishing have been regularly planted in the Hiking Area.
