Customer service is available by phone from Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at +358 206 396 850, by email at oulanka@metsa.fi, and online at nationalparks.fi.
Exceptional Closures in Customer Service

The best place to gain information on Oulanka and Karhunkierros Trail - Oulanka Visitor Centre
Location: In Kuusamo, Northern Ostrobothnia, Oulanka National Park and Karhunkierros. Read more.
Arrival: By car and public transportation. Read more.
Visit: Open daily during the high season. Closed on Sundays and Mondays from November to January, as well as on Christmas holidays. There is no entrance fee to the visitor centre. Guided group tours at the exhibition and in the terrain of Oulanka National Park cost 50€/group/hour, and must be booked in advance. Read more.
Things to Do and See: The exhibition On the Banks of a Flowing River, films, events, guided tours, temporary exhibitions, day hiking trails, a nature trail (2 km) to the Kiutaköngäs Rapids, a memorial for the author Reino Rinne by the nature trail. Read more.
Services: Hiking information, signposts guiding to hiking trails, nature education, a souvenir shop, fishing licences, an auditorium, a children's play corner, a library, lockable storages for belongings. Read more.
Suitability: An excellent location for families with children. Visitor centre is accessible except entry to library upstairs. Also pets are welcome.
