The trail between Jänispää and Kontinpaistama hut is closed. The trail markers have been destroyed in a large wildfire.
Following enterprises and other organisations offer services in the wilderness area. They have a cooperation agreement with Metsähallitus and they follow the principles of sustainable nature tourism (metsa.fi) when operating in the wilderness area.
