During a forest fire warning (ilmatieteenlaitos.fi), fire is only allowed at covered campfire sites that have a flue or in fireplaces at huts, but only with extreme caution. The one who lights the fire is always responsible for its safety. Making a fire at campfire sites can be banned locally.
The picture shows a lake and an island.

""The landscape here is dominated by geological features created millions of years ago by mighty movements deep in the Earth's crust. After admiring the rugged cliffs around Helvetinjärvi (Hell's Lake) and Helvetinkolu (Helvetinkolu Gorge) you can relax on the sandy lakeshore at Haukanhieta.

Suitability: Suitable for visitors of all ages all year. Some sections of the trails are challenging due to differences in elevation. Kankimäki and the immediate surroundings of Haukanhieta are suitable for visitors with mobility difficulties if assisted.

The area is managed by Metsähallitus, Parks & Wildlife Finland, Lakeland.
