Čuomasjávri Open Wilderness Hut (so called Tsuomasjärvi)
Type
Open wilderness hut for 6 persons.
Location
Northern Lapland, Inari region, Kaldoaivi Wilderness Area.
Čuomasjávri, coordinates: Euref-Fin (~ WGS84) lat: 69° 51.9390' lon: 28° 14.7368' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 7751379 E: 547849.
The hut is located on the northern shore of Lake Čuomasjávri, on the northwestern side of Kolmmesoaivi Fell, in Utsjoki.
The hut is suitable for winter use. It was build in 1968 and renovated in 2000.
Facilities
- A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker.
Notices
- Pets are allowed in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
- Safety on hiking.

There are bins for mixed waste at the hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste to one of the area's recycling points. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
