It's not allowed to make a fire in Lattunavaara open wilderness hut because the chimney is in poor condition and is not safe to use. Making a fire is also prohibited in the old, restored Lattunvaara fire guards hut.

Next to the open wilderness hut, there is a hut restored by the National Board of Antiquities. Formerly, both of these huts used to be fire guard's huts.

Pets are allowed in the hut, but only with the consent of the other users of the hut.

Bring with you a head torch and a first aid kit.
