Northern Lapland Region, Municipality of Enontekiö, Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park
The wilderness hut is situated on the Hetta-Pallas Trail, 15 km from Hetta and 40 km from Pallas in the ravine between Pyhäkero Fell and Siosvaara Fell.
A stove, a gas cooker, a dry toilet, a wood shed and basic cooking equipment.
The peak seasons for this hut are Easter holidays and the autumn´s ruska season.
Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.
The building also houses a reservable wilderness hut for 8 persons.
Visitors must come prepared with warm clothing, food, drink, maps, compass, orienteering skills and matches. Fog or storms can form in just a few hours. Take also your own toilet paper.
There are no waste management services at the hut. The goal of the National Park is to be a litter-free area and hikers are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Maintenance and Management
Tourist entrepreneurs operating in national parks or other areas managed by Metsähallitus need a cooperation agreement. A fee is charged for using the routes and service infrastructure for business activities.
