The campfire shelter is located at the northern end of Pielpavuono Fjord in the western part of Lake Inari.



  • A fire pit.


  • Boating base. The boating entrepreneur will take customers to Pielpavuono on request.
  • A 2.4 km marked trail leads from the campfire shelter to Pielpajärvi Wilderness Church.
  • Safety on hiking.
  • There is a recycling point at the campfire shelter, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
