Drinking Water

The water has not been tested, so drinking water taken from the lakes or the brook is at hiker's own risk. It is advisable to boil the water before drinking.

Biodegradable waste should be placed in a dry toilet or composter, and small amounts of clean paper and cardboard can be used as kindling in a campfire. Read more about Hiking without littering.
