Lauhanvuori National Park

An adult and a child spend time by a campfire in a snowy forest.

The drawn emblem of Lauhavuori national park. Depicted inside the oval symbol are two ermines around a stone. The text Lauhavuori national park in Finnish and Swedish wraps around the outer edge of the emblem.
Walk up Lauhanvuori Hill and climb the viewing tower to get panoramic views over the forested lowlands stretching off to the shores of the Gulf of Bothnia. The hillside forests contain geological traces showing how the scenery has changed since the Ice Age, including extensive boulder fields and banks formed along ancient shorelines. The park's ski-trails are well maintained during the winter.

Suitability: Suitable for visitors of all ages all year.
