In Finland, there are many types of hiking trails varying in their level of difficulty, length and purpose. There are summer and winter routes as well as trails for walking, rowing or canoeing and bicycling, etc. Some of the trails are short and easy, but some are quite long or demanding, and taking them requires that you have a good map and solid map reading skills.
