Welcome to Northern Lapland Nature Centre Siida

Northern Lapland Nature Centre Siida's permanent and temporary exhibitions introduce the diverse northern nature and Sámi culture. In summer, the atmospheric open-air museum supplements the exhibitions. Visitors can enjoy delicacies sold by the cosy café-restaurant Sarrit. Metsähallitus Nature Centre and the Sámi Museum work in cooperation at Siida.

Visit: Open daily in the summer season, closed on Mondays in the winter season. Tickets: €10/€8/€5. A guided tour of the exhibition costs €105/group/1h 15 min and must be booked in advance. Read more.

Suitability: A lively and engaging destination for families with children that will keep everyone entertained throughout the day. A toilet for the disabled, indoor facilities are accessible to all. Pets are not permitted in the Nature Centre.

Services: High-quality items for daily use and gifts for sale at Siida Shop, café-restaurant Sarrit, hiking information, tourist information point of the Inari municipality, WLAN, and fishing, hunting, and other permits. Services provided by cooperating partners are also available. Read more.
