Orinteering competion will be held in and next to Sipoonkorpi National park on Sunday 20th October.

On Sunday 20th October Pihkaniskat Orienteering club will organize longdistance orienteering Finland's Championship competition in Sipoonkorpi and its surroundings. 

The competition center is located in Hakunilan liikuntapuisto and the competition will be held between 10 am to 6 pm. 

Please note, there will be lots of competitors in Hakunila liikuntapuisto - Sotunki - Nybygget-area. 

Everyone is welcome to Hakunila liikuntapuisto to follow the event, for free. Parking fee for cars is 5 euros.

People interested in orienteering can take part in open for all event (kuntosuunnistus in Finnish) and test orienteering skills near Hakunila liikuntapuisto with a little fee. One can participate the kuntosuunnistus from 12 to 1 pm.

New Accessible Route

A new accessible route has been built at Sipoonkorvi National Park. The route is demanding and it starts at the Tasakallio parking area and leads to Storträsk. There is a new campfire site, a dry toilet and a wood shelter at Storträsk. An accessible toilet is now being built and it will be ready for use within a few weeks. See the map (julkaisut.metsa.fi).
