MTB trails are maintained by the municipality of Utajärvi.

Across the national park runs about 40 kilometres of mountain bike trails. All trails are renewed in 2021-2022. There are different sections along the trail in terms of challenges. There are flat sections that can be cycled fast but also demanding sections due to the altitude differences. Part of the trail runs along a base of a forest road. Please note that in the national park, cycling is only allowed along the trail designated for the purpose. Stay on the trail and avoid any unnecessary erosion of the terrain. Some sections of the trail are shared with pedestrians. Please use the appropriate speed for the situation.
