The wilderness hut is situated at the south end of Lake Morgamjärvi. It is owned by the Gold Prospectors Association of Finnish Lapland (Lapin Kullankaivajien Liitto).

The wilderness hut was built at the end of the 1980s and was renovated in 2001.

Notices

  • Pets are permitted in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
  • Safety on hiking.
  • There is a recycling point at the wilderness hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
