Because of the coronavirus, safe distances should be kept even in nature, and thorough hand hygiene should be followed at huts, campfire sites and after using the toilet. Valkmusa National Park is located on the northside of the main road E18. The National Park is situated on road 3562, which leads north from the Village of Siltakylä in Pyhtää.

By Car

From the road 170 there are signs to Valkmusa National Park. At the parking area in Simonsaari (Vastilantie 886) the signs lead to the circular trail and the nature observation tower. At the parking area in Suolinnantie (Suolinnantie 740) the signs lead to the Moronvuori Day Trip Hut.
By Public Transportation

On weekdays buses from Kotka to Vastila and Hirvikoski travel along road 3562, which is a boundary of the park. There is a bus stop about 200 metres from the National Park.

There are two parking areas in Valkmusa National Park.
- Simonsaari Parking area, Vastilantie 886 (by the Road 3562, Pyhtää, on the edge of Valkmusa mire)
- Suolinnantie, Suolinnantie 740, Pyhtää (at the end of the road, on the eastern edge of the park)
