Palovartijan maja Open Wilderness Hut
This open wilderness hut was previously a fire guard's home. It is situated at the top of Pookivaara Hill in Rokua National Park. It is on Keisarinkierros Hiking Trail (Emperor's Circle Trail) about 2 km south from the Wilderness Hotel Rokuanhovi and ski stadium. The hut was built in 1936 and functioned as a fire guard hut up to the year 1975.

- Hikers must bring their own drinking water. The quality of the water in the well situated on the grounds of the hut has not been tested.
- Pets are not permitted in the hut.
- Safety on hiking
There are not waste bins at the hut. Hikers are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
