Starting Point for Trail

Onto the 2 km duckboard loop in the National Park it is possible to get from both Nummikangas and Salomaa parking areas.

Circle Trail

In Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park there is 2 km duckboard loop onto which you can get from Nummikangas and Salomaa parking areas. On the north side of Lake Kauhalammi, along the duckboard loop, there is an observation tower.

Biking Trails

The National Bike Trail no 44 goes through Kauhaneva-Pohjankangas National Park. Kyrönkangas summer road is an unpaved museum road. To Lauhanvuori National Park nearby it is possible to get by bike on the National Bike Trail no 47, which joins up with the trail 44 in Karvia, at the village of Kantti. The National Bike Trails are marked with brown signs of Finnish Road Administration.

When forest and grass fire warnings are in effect, fire is only allowed at covered campfire sites that have a flue. A fire can be also lit in fireplaces at wilderness and other huts. Always use extreme caution when handling fire. The one who lights a fire is always responsible for its safe use. Please note, that making fire at these campfire sites can be banned locally.
