Sallivaara / Sallâvääri, Day-use Hut

Sallivaara, coordinates: Euref-Fin (~ WGS84) lat: 68° 29.1748' lon: 25° 52.3518' ETRS-TM35FIN: N: 7597714 E: 454023.
The day-use hut is situated at the Sallivaara reindeer round-up site on the northwest side of road 955 (Inari - Kittilä).
This log cabin is known as former police cabin. There is a tent site and a campfire site close to the day-use hut.
Facilities
- A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker.
Notices
- Pets are permitted in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
- Safety on hiking.
- There is a recycling point at the hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
