The wilderness hut is situated in the northern part of Lemmenjoki National Park. It stands on the southeastern shore of the upper Lake Lankojärvi on a field which is a heritage landscape site.

The open wilderness hut was built at the beginning of the 1900s and was renovated in 1996. This log cabin is for summer use only.

Notices

  • Pets are permitted in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
  • Safety on hiking.
  • There is a recycling point at the wilderness hut, but hikers are asked to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
