Archipelago National Park
1.10.2020
Because of the coronavirus, safe distances should be kept even in nature, and thorough hand hygiene should be followed at huts, campfire sites and after using the toilet. Metsähallitus' policies and guidelines will be updated as the general corona guidelines become more specific. Check our website for the current situation: www.nationalparks.fi/coronavirusguidelines.

The labyrinthine Archipelago Sea, off Southwestern Finland, has more islands than any other archipelago in the world. It has also been described as the world's most beautiful archipelago. The archipelago scene varies from larger islands dotted with rustic pastures and vibrant villages, to wild and windswept rocky islets. Scheduled ferry services take locals and trippers to the main islands all year round.
Suitability: Since the national park is only accessible by sea, a visit requires thorough planning. No services for visitors with mobility difficulties.
The area is managed by Metsähallitus, Parks & Wildlife Finland, Coastal and Metropolitan Area.
