Check for Warnings

When forest and grass fire warnings (en.ilmatieteenlaitos.fi) are in effect, fire is only allowed at covered campfire sites that have a flue. A fire can be also lit in fireplaces at wilderness and other huts. Always use extreme caution when handling fire. The one who lights a fire is always responsible for its safe use. Please note, that making fire at these campfire sites can be banned locally.

Nationalparks.fi User Survey 2023 underway

We want to constantly improve the Nationalparks.fi website. In order to stay on the right track, we are conducting a user survey. The survey will help us to improve the functionality of our website and serve you even better. We will be compiling the survey results into a summary, so individual responses will not appear.

The survey window will open after the Nationalparks.fi website opens in your browser. The opening of the survey requires the allowance of statistic cookies. Just by taking the survey, respondents will be eligible to win tube scarfs.

The Nationalparks.fi staff would like to thank all the respondents who have already taken the survey and hopes to get more responses, so we can serve you even better! The survey will launch on 8 May 2023 and run for four weeks.
