Teijo Nature Centre

Welcome to Teijo Nature Centre

Teijo is a family destination with a wide range of attractions, located close to some scenic old ironworks villages. The Nature Centre in the heart of the national park provides information on the area and advice and tips on planning your trip. Purchase maps or fishing permits or reserve boats, canoes, a hut, sauna, caravan site or camping area. A small café welcomes visitors for coffee.

Reservations for caravans, for campers and for sauna can be done by phone or by e-mail between 1.4.-30.10.2018.

Visit: Open daily 29th April–31st August and from Wednesday to Sunday from 1st September to 23rd October. No entrance fee is charged for the Nature Centre. Read more

Suitability: An ideal destination for the whole family. The Nature Centre is accessible and equipped with a toilet for the disabled.

Services: Hiking advice and information on local history, fishing and hunting permits, a café, facilities and equipment rental, boat and canoe rental, bookings for the sauna, hut and caravan sites, picnic snacks, souvenirs, tourist information for the nearby area.
