Visit: Entrance to the visitor centre is free of charge. Guided group tours of the exhibition cost €50/group/hour, and must be booked in advance. Open in the spring, summer, and autumn seasons; at other times by prior arrangement (a door opening fee will be charged). Read more.

Suitability: Excellent for families with children. The main exhibition, nature shop, auditorium, and temporary exhibitions in the downstairs and the exhibition space upstairs are accessible to all. There is a toilet for the disabled in the premises. A barrier-free nature trail (1 km) is accessible to all with an assistant. Pets are not permitted in the Visitor Centre.
Services: Nature guidance, hiking information, nature shop, reservations and keys to huts in Urho Kekkonen National Park and Hammastunturi Fell Wilderness Area, auditorium rental, and fishing, hunting, and snowmobile track permits.
