The Sireninkämppä hut is located southeast of Rovaniemi, on a slope of Kaihuanvaara Hill, on the eastern side of Lake Iso-Kaihuajärvi. You can get close to the hut from the road that runs along the eastern side of Lake Iso-Kaihuajärvi. A hiking trail runs onto Kaihuanvaara Hill via the hut.

Formerly, the Siperia hut used to function as a base for researchers of the Finnish Forest Research Institute in the Kaihuanvaara Research Area.

Notices

There is a brook next to the hut. You can take water from it. However, the water quality has not been monitored.

Pets are allowed in the hut, but only with the consent of the other users of the hut.
