Keys

Keys for the Selkä-Sarven Vartio rental hut are available in the key cabinet located next to the door. You will recieve the code via email after booking. 

Facilities

Heating and light

An open fireplace. Please note that it takes some time before the hut is properly warm! Solar powered electicity for lightning and charching equipment. 

Cooking

A gas stove, crockery.

Drinking water

Bring drinking water with you. The water in the island's well is not to be used.

Sleeping

Bunk beds, pillows, blankets. Bring your own bedsheets. 

Sauna

There is a wood heated rental sauna for shared use at the excursion harbour. Sauna fee is icluded in this hut's rental price. 

Toilet

An outhouse. Bring your own toilet paper. 

Waste management

There is no waste management. Please do not leave any litter or other traces of your stay. Small amounts of compostable waste can be disposed in the dry toilet. Small amounts of dry and clean paper or cardboard can be used as a kindling. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.

Notices

• There is a barbecue hut, a campfire site, a woodshed and a dry toilet at the hut's yard for shared use.
• The boat landing site is located at the nearby excursion harbour. 
• The Kokko Rental Hut as well as the Kalla Open Wilderness Hut and the Ailinpieti fishing base are located in the southern part of Selkä-Sarvi Island. There is a nature trail (about 1 km) to the Ailinpieti fishing base.
• Pets are not allowed in the hut. There is no smoking allowed in the hut.
• Safety on hiking.
