The wilderness hut is situated by the Hetta-Pallas Trail, 26 km from Hetta and 29 km from Pallas.T

A stove, a gas cooker and basic cooking equipment; pot, frying pan, coffee pot.
Water can be taken from the spring but it is recommended to boil or filter it before use. The peak seasons for this hut are Easter holidays and the autumn´s ruska season. Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it. Visitors must come prepared with warm clothing, food, drink, maps, compass, orienteering skills and matches. Fog or storms can form in just a few hours. Take also your own toilet paper.
The closest waste bins and recycling point are at Hannukuru Open Wilderness Hut (1,5 km). The goal of the National Park is to be a litter-free area and hikers are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
