The wilderness hut is situated in the northwestern side of Njávgoaivi Fell on the western part of Kevo Strict Nature Reserve along a marked trail.
On the grounds there is a lean-to shelter for day-trip use for approx. 15 people. The hut is suited for winter use.

- A wood-burning stove and a gas cooker.
Notices
- Pets are permitted in the hut, but only if other visitors consent to it.
- The nearest body of water is about 700 metres to the west, Njávgoaijohka-stream.
- Safety on hiking.
- There are no waste management services at the hut. Hikers are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
