The wilderness hut is situated about 5 km west of Pallastunturi on the trails leading to Hotel Jeris and Torassieppi to Olos.

Facilities

A stove, a dry toilet and a wood shed. 

Notices

The peak seasons for this hut are Easter holidays and the autumn´s ruska season.

Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.

Visitors must come prepared with warm clothing, food, drink, maps, compass, orienteering skills and matches. Fog or storms can form in just a few hours. Take also your own toilet paper.

Waste Management

The goal of the National Park is to be a litter-free area and hikers are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Recycling points can be found at  Pallastunturi Visitor Centre and Fell Lapland Visitor Centre. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
