The hut is located on the shore of a small pond on top of Juuvanrova hill. However, bring drinking water with you as the water in the pond is not fresh.

Fireplace, a dry toilet and a wood shed.

Notices

Pets are permitted in the hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.

Visitors must come prepared with warm clothing, food, drink, maps, compass, orienteering skills and matches. Fog or storms can form in just a few hours. Take also your own toilet paper.e hut, but only in case that other visitors agree with it.

Waste Management

The goal of the management of the area is to keep it litter-free. Hikers are adviced to bring their own waste out of the area. Recycling points can be found at Yllästunturi Visitor Centre Kellokas, Pallastunturi Visitor Centre and Fell Lapland Visitor Centre. Read more about Hiking Without Littering.
