Services at the Pisamalahti Hill Fort

  • The campfire shelter is available for cooking a picnic meal. Open fires are not permitted on the Hill Fort. The campfire shelter at the foot of the hill is maintained by the Municipality of Sulkava.
  • A dry toilet is available by the Hill Fort. The Municipality of Sulkava is responsible for maintaining the toilet.
  • Stairs to the top of the Hill Fort are available for hikers.
  • The visitors' berth is available free of charge. The Municipality of Sulkava is responsible for maintaining the berth.
  • Other services are available in the Sulkava church village, approximately 6 kilometres from the Pisamalahti Hill Fort.

Services for the Disabled

  • The Pisamalahti Hill Fort is not suitable for disabled visitors, because the stairs and slopes of the hill are steep and the going is difficult. There is no access for prams or pushchairs.
