The exhibition features the Hailuoto landscape and its cultural heritage with the aid of a giant picture screen, interactive panels and artefacts. The main element of the exhibition is a film featuring the island during different seasons, which is shown on a central screen. The film is supplemented by interactive programmes, which feature Hailuoto's bird, butterfly and plant species and different habitats as well as the island's history, culture, peoples and livelihoods. In the exhibition's glass cabinets there are exhibits on fish, seals and birds.

The nature exhibition is interactive and visitors can examine it independently.
