Starting Point: At the end of the Rovajärvi road (Rovajärventie 765, 99870 Inari) there is a parking area.

The skiing trails in Inari area are open from mid-february to end of april. The trails are maintained two or three times a week.

Juutuanvaara Skiing Stadium 3 / 5 / 10 km, both styles.

The Finnish Ski Championship competition was organised in 1999 on these trails.

Starting Point: Kisatie 1, 99870 Inari. Skiing Stadium is located in the village of Inari, about 1 km from the centre of the village, along Kittilä road.

Notice: Skiing trails maintains sportclub called Inarin Yritys.

Snowmobile Tracks

During the winter, snow mobiles are a common mode of transport on Lake Inarijärvi, because the distances are long, and the ice on the lake is strong enough from December to May, in an average year.

On the ice of Lake Inarijärvi, there are marked snow mobile tracks going to Nellim, Sevettijärvi and Ivalo.
